As someone else noted, the dog likes you better than anyone and its his way of getting closer to you. Not a very beneficial one for you.
At 9 months he's likely cutting teeth and needs things to chew on. You can help by putting things you don't want him to chew out of his reach and buying him (or her) some dog chews.

That is a great question. You are obviously the primary owner of the dog. I have a rottweiller . Got him when he was 3 months. Every since the day i took him in he would only chew on the things that i frequently touched and would sleep on my blanket, my pillow and my clothes. It is their way of staying close to you.

If he chews on one of ur things then leaves HIS scent then he will know that he chewed on it before and come back to chew it knowing it is safe. Or he REALLY likes you! Nice ownering!

It may be that your bedroom door stays wide open. Try putting EVERYTHING of yours in your bedroom, and close the door. Then he won't be able to chew your stuff. Maybe he just LOVES you! When my cat was a kitten, he'd chew on anything, so we put all of our things in our bedrooms, and closed the doors. That solved our problem, except he started chewing on us

Well Pork Chop, it's your scent on the items. He finds comfort as you are the master. And I love labs BTW. Great dogs, great pals, so playful. Peace.

I have a lab mix, and she does the same thing to me. I believe that to your dog, you are the alpha male/female, and your dog recognizes your scent on your clothes and is show his/her affection toward you. My lab finally stopped doing it, when I started correcting her.

He has claimed you and is letting you know you are his (or hers)
Just start redirecting and letting him know that is not acceptable. He will grow out of it and start just following you around or carrying your things without chewing them eventually.

He knows your scent and tries to be closer to you. However, it's a bad habit and you need to break him of it, unless you just WANT your underwear chewed to shreds.

It's probably bonded to you. Your things have your scent on them. Some dogs bond to one person and others are "everyone's" dog. I have one of each.
