Does anyone else think adults are sick & have weird feelings?

about se x? i reads some of these ppl's stuff & my mom is the same age as some & they are talking about getting tattoos of 'sl ut' on their bu tts & spanking each other & having sex with a lot of other people and weird sex too like with animals (yuck!). i thought adults were supposed to be good role modals for us kids. why are they so messed up? im going to be 13 in oct & i think me & my friends are more mature than most of the adults on here!

i get reported for being young & the ppl still talk about bad things that ought to be reported for...go figure. i guess young ppl don't have any say

why does ppl like misshcatea report me when i ask a ?, i guess she doesn't like young ppl to ask ?'s or have their own minds. you probably are one of the adults i am talkinga about so i understand you. ok, so you got a 13 yo kicked off the boards you happy aren't you cause its sure isn't cause you care about what i see.

Actually, you are correct in that adults should be role models for their children. I believe that those you think otherwise are simply trying to escape roles that society has defined for them.

However, I feel also that this extends only into the public sphere. This is what I believe to be civilised behaviour. In the kind of society that most of us want, we curtail some of our urges to be out of the public's eye.

Nevertheless, because adults engage in activities that are not appropriate for the public does not negate their ability to be role models or good citizens of a civilised society. Many adults have urges that should not be suppressed but should be limited to arenas where all possible observers are comfortable with the actions of these urges. This does not necessarily mean that they are sick (although some are). Nor does it imply immaturity. Weird is a personal observation and depends on who is deciding weirdness, but weirdness is not wrong in of itself.

It is possible for a person to have a raunchy private life and have a public face that does not reveal this raunchiness. This isn't lying or deceit. It's called having privacy, and it is every bit as important as a teenager wishing to keep her diary writings out of the eyes of others.

I think that we sometimes forget that are questions and answers on this forum can be seen by anyone, and often in those cases people can write things that should be kept in the private arena. I am sorry that this happens. Hopefully this answer can give you clarity into what adult behaviour should be and shouldn't be, both in a public forum or the privacy of their personal lives.

You hold on to that maturity as long as you can. As long as you know what a good role model for you isnt, then you can be your own inner voice, and trust yourself.

Sometimes as people get older things get complicated and a little weird.Sexuality is also complicated business. Although many adults are a lot more open with their feelings on the internet than they would be in real life, and many also exagerrate, the sort of porn that you are looking at is not an indicator of how most adults think and behave. It is just a weird sort of entertainment for adults. Porno stars are not meant to be role models. As for the other conversations you have read, perhaps they do not realize that they are being noticed by young people your age, and are letting you down. If so, they may not exaggerrate so much and might watch what they type.Then again, perhaps you should not be looking at the sort of things on the internet that you are.
it is up to you to decide what you do and do not look at on the net, and as a mature young person you have the power to click onto another site. One that meets your standards, which you should never drop.

I'm old enough that if I dated a woman half my age she could be a grandmother. I've been married for a period that is twice your age plus four years. What you have witnessed is some adults playing. That doesn't mean we really, honestly want to live that life style. Am I a good role model for children, preteens, and teens? I hope so. Would I ever, ever intentionally do something weird in front of you? Absolutely not!! Have a good life baby. (calling you baby does not mean you are my baby, it means you ARE a BABY to me)

I know exactly how you feel, but believe me, when your hormones begin to impose themselves, you'll start to feel different. :)
Although, with the lengths some people go to (like the beastiality), it does go above and beyond the realms of acceptability, no matter how old you are.
