Sex in levels:
1. Romance.. Hand holding...hugging
2. Passion.... Kissing
3. Contact... Petting, touching
4. Sensory... Licking, heavy petting, oral
5. Intimacy... Contact and penetration
6. Alternative... Exploration, anal, additions

These don't include self-exploration and manipulation, which is not only healthy but not wrong (no matter who tells you otherwise).

I have two boys 6 years apart who share a bedroom. My older son used to listen to a talk radio program where they had young people call in with questions about sex. My younger son, who was about 5 got out of bed to tell us "He said sex". I asked my son if he know what sex is, when he said no, I responded that there are two types of sex, boys and girls.

This is the type of query that really belongs in the privacy of asking the parents. Otherwise, you are opening up to problems down the road--really!
