Absolutely!!!!! I would not be surprised but many people would be surprised at how many teens bend to peer pressure... whether it be to stealing, smoking, drugs, or just studying for school... (thinking it is cool to flunk). The end result of this bending to peer pressure is incredible for the United States. I TRULY believe that peer pressure is destroying the educational intellect of our very beings in the U.S. The U..S. used to be the leading country with schooling, etc and now it is down the line with such countries as India.. China.... France.. etc ahead of the U.S. and I blame much.... MUCH of this on peer pressure

Teens are definitely falling in to peer pressure...it's sad because life seems a lot tougher for teenagers these days as compared to the past. The media has a lot to play in getting teenagers succumb to peer pressure.

Another reason's the increasing emphasis on keeping up appearances.

There seems to be no place for these kids to go to get a straight answer.

You want to be yourself, but you want to belong.

Which is more important?

Image is everything? Image is nothing.
