for cardio: power walk around your neighborhood with the kids, dog, friends, etc., use your stairs to tone leg muscles, turn on the radio and dance deep clean the house (all the bending, moving furniture, etc.), ride a bicycle if possible
for muscle toning: stairs, sit-ups, push-ups, lunges, squats, any kind of exercise that uses your body weight. Heavy canned foods can be good alternative for exercises for arms and upper body if weights or bands are not affordable or try go to a local physical therapy office-sometimes they give exericse bands to clients for free, you may be able to purchase some for a couple of bucks.
Good luck!

Do what Diana Ross does...housework! She has an entourage of helpers in her home, but whenever she feels fat, she makes her maids stand and watch while she gets down on her knees to scrub the floor and clean the house.

Doing that will not only help you burn loads of calories, it'll keep the house clean every week! Walking up the stairs burns quite a bit of calories.

If you are one of the fortunate few who don't need to do housework, then do the following:
- do sit ups while you watch the television
- get a cheap aerobics video and imitate the instructor's every move.
- jogging around your neighbourhood...that's the best...really burns loads of calories.

Running is cheap, relatively easy, and accessible. All you need is a shirt, shorts, and a pair of running shoes. Run around your block for 45 to 60 minutes; I guarantee you'll think it's an effective workout. It really gets you in shape.

Go on YouTube and kind in "scooby residence health" and there is a few movies he has on doing residence workout routines. You want like one or 2 weight plates however it is as a rule essentially the most elementary you'll get.

you can run up and down stairs. 2 min. of doing that for 4-5 days a week equals 20 minutes of jogging.

Video CDs could really be helpful plus, you don't have to buy gears. Old ratty clothes will do just fine since you're just inside your homey.
