1. get some hydrocortisone cream from your local pharmacist or grocery store and use that on the affected area.
2. be sure and exfoliate the skin in the affected area regularly- scrub with soap and water
3. some skin conditions are diagnosed as eczema, etc, and can only be treated with an antibiotic. so if steps 1&2 dont improve the itching, see a dr.
hope this helps!

Itchiness of the skin is common from dry skin. Any good skin moisturizer will improve things. Cocoa butter is good, but baby lotion or baby oil will work too. Before he begins this, he should have someone (you) look at the skin to observe if there are any spots or blemishes...itchy skin can be a symptom of a minor skin fungus and it is easily treatable.....but some men just like their backs scratched....as my family well knows.

I've seen this prolem before...........................yes..............hummm..........................oh yes, I remeber the antidote. Have someone else, preferably someone with good fingernails ligthly drag them over his back to get rid of the itch. This is called scratching. And with all the great breakthroughs in modern science we have now came up with ways to scratch your back without having somoene else do it. This new invention called a back sratcher is a stick a couple of feet long with a little paw shaped end that has little points that resemble claws or finger nails at the end. It is great you can scratch your own back in all the hard to get places with these things. Good luck
