"Rocket Summer" from Ray Bradbury's The Martian Chronicles has some fantastic imagery and has a reading level that will work well for just about any level reader.

Depends what age group it is but make it sumthing imaginative and exciting that will get the kids intreaged and wanting more and make it quite short ,childrens attention span nowadays is quite short. Base it like a fairy tale story or about a fairy or a prince.
Make it have a good start and a exciting plot in the middle and a happy ending. or you could make it a cliffhanger at the end and get the kids will be left wanting more ! Hope I helped you! =)

The Paper Bag Princess. I think it is by Robert Munsch.... it is a great story about a young princess who sets off to have her own adventures and find her prince! There is a great twist at the end when she realizes that she doesn't need a prince to be complete. I have used this story at my Women helping Girls Career Days and the girls loved to tell/act the story out!
Good Luck!

She should write a story about her sexual escapades and heavy drug use. They get started with that in pre-school, nowadays.
