People belonging to different religions should

1)Try to convert others to their religion by various various methods like propaganda., offering money, social facilities etc
2)Try to convert by force, state and individual by denying social facilites and adopting other positive discriminative practices.
3)Knowing that all are children of one and the same God, and all religions are nothing but different ways to attain God. live and allow people to pursue their own ways of religious life without creating social tensions
OR Alternativel people/ state should pursue material aspects of life only and should not be concerned with spiritual aspects as most of the political and social problems in the world were/ are basically due to religious differences[Religion is the opium of man]

#3. You should follow whatever path YOU feel comfortable with. God is within us all, as God is a part of all. When you try to convert another to your way of thinking (especially forcefully) you are denying them the right for making their own choices. Religion will not necessarily unite the world, but learning to live with one another as *people* may. There is no right or wrong paths, as each has its place in the world. Parochial viewpoints will often close the doors on the "inner person".

I believe no 1 is impossible since it is hard to convert oneself let alone others and all those things or ways you mention there, they do not work, no-one can convert another if that one does not want the conversion, for that reason number 2 is also not possible because trying to force someone will only get their back up and they will fight you more so, the same as discriminative practices will do that, they will get their back up and their fighting spirit aroused! And Number 3 is totally of the Beaten track sorry but you asked my thoughts on that and that's what I think! But I do not mean any disrespect to you at all! If you had a life threatening disease and someone nearby in your district had the antidote would you not appreciate it if they help you with it?. or would you then want them to keep it to themselves? Or would you investigate to see if, indeed, they had the antidote, that, would, work, to get rid of your disease? I believe the latter would be true! Would you not think it foolish to throw away the chance to get rid of your disease?

None of the above. My religion does not include converting others, nor does it include monotheism. I just don't see any reason to believe that there is only one deity. But I can agree with the "allow people to pursue their own ways of religious life without creating social tensions" part.

I am nervous answering this question.

I just posted a lot of information about islam and what is written in the koran and I got accused of enticing violence and hatred.

There was no fabrication of information.

It was point by point and in the koran.

So I am not sure I want to share my opinion on this anymore.

Actually this happens anywhere where people do not care for the truth and do not want to know the truth because there is accountabilty where there is truth.

Maybe tomorrow I may change my mind about answering in detail

I don't like any of your answers. Apologetics is about describing your religion to someone else, and possibly inviting them to mass/church/temple/whatever. Most religions will not create the social tensions of the most outspoken ones. The discussion isn't to convert, but to understand God. Presented, then, with the truths of one religion, a person can choose.

I really detest 1) it sounds like threatening people with Hell if they don't become -various christian or muslim sect-. It is not as common as the loudmouths are.

I'm going to have to go with the first part of #3. After the OR doesn't work for me. Allow people to live and believe as they choose, just as you would like that same respect.

Religions ere failed institutions that systematically send you to the condemned world to fight poverty with working poor, the rich powerful and the rulers of the earth are the condemned not the lowly citizen

To be honest I have no opinion on this.
Its up to the individual what they believe in.
I believe in god but i don't push it onto anyone else not even my kids. that's up to them.
I have explained my religion to them and also explained what I know of other religions.
When they are older they can choose for them selves who and what they want to believe

Should give up religion, and search for truth from scratch, instead believing anyone for their word.
