Im looking for a good site that has used cars for under $1000
I have already tried:

kbb
craigslist
ebay
Are there any others ?

www.cars.com, www.autotrader.com. You can put in what you are willing to pay, and bring up cars in your range. Only thing is, most cars sold cheap people won't pay to advertise online or in a paper. Drive around town & look for cars for sale in people's yards, go to car lots & go to the row farthest back from the road: that's where they always stash the cheap ones - as if to isolate them from the newer, shiny ones - LOL! You may also want to call some banks & check on what they have reposssed to sell. Go to local auto salvage yards to see if they have any easy fixers that run. And check with Goodwill or other such organizations - they take donated (tax write-off) cars & fix to resell. Happy hunting!

go to ebay and check some cars this may take a little tome but you may find some cars local to your area.check your local news pappers you ddan usally check the classified for free and it save the cost of several pappers around your area that might not be in your local store . it may be worth traveling a little further to get the better deal. auction are nice but sometime you dont know what you are about to get in to

Quit looking online, check out the Auto Auctions in your area. Good cars low prices. Plus you can see what your getting.

craigslist is the best i can think of, very inexpensive .. most the others are high priced

You could also check your local paper's Sunday claissfieds.
