to write such a huge lie only to be persecuted, burned, ripped to shreads and tortured in all kind of ways.......if it were a lie?

Christ warned the apostles they would be persecuted for His names sake, yet they went forward in their belief and faith. In return for their witness, they will have eternal life with Christ!
Look at it this way....if we believers are wrong, then nothing happens,right?? BUT, what if we're right?? (which I believe we are!) Think about that one.
1Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

The benefit for any of them was to avoid the experiences of the times by dissociating
Religion has been shared delusion for over 2000 years. Next to prostitution, it is the oldest occupation.

That's a great point you made there! Why would so many people write these books about God and all, being killed, and imprisonment. they would have been very very crazy or knew the whole truth. I go with them knowing th whole truth!

They were just telling the truth. Odd how "fairy story" still makes unbelievers so angry. It's as if they can't stop calling us names and attacking.
