For all the presumptious peeps I have never seen an episode of charmed in my life, and have kept a book of shadows for more than fifteen years

Yes. Actually I've had several but my latest was dedicated in May of '05 when I re-dedicated all that I am, all that I have and all that I do to the Goddess.
Its a collection of dreams and personal events, thoughts and feelings. Closer to a journal than a traditional Book of Shadows. I'm not affiliated with a Coven, so I just write what I think fits.
I am a Wiccan, Lightworker and Reiki practitioner. This all seems to blend somewhat and wind up in my Book of Shadows.

That is a book of shadows, right?
by book of Shadows, did you mean a spell book.
I have a copy of one of the most dangerous Spell books that was ever produced. Hell I'm a little afraid to even read some of the spells out loud!

Stop watching 'Charmed!' There really isn't a book of shadows - and the demons just don't work like that either.
Just write out your own diary and see what happens - that is all that counts if you know.

My book of shadows has many shadows
from the past, i keep them there to hold them
there so they never escape to bother another.
They are evil shadows, shadows which ruin
ones life, that created sadness & sorrows that
haunt the spirits of any who allow them near their
essence, there are shadows of death, of molestation,
of lies & deciet, of killers & monsters who rape the
world of its innocence, of cruel parents and care
takers, of demons & holy creeps of false religions
& healing, of mataphors so ugly that even nature
hides from the possibilities of eternal woes ..
O, and also a book marker of Marilyn Monroe,
because she did not take her own life !!!!!
Yes, i keep as many shadows as i can find and put

At one time, I tried to write things down but it felt wrong to me. The ancient Celts believed that it was taboo to write spiritual things down and for me this seems to be true also. I can't explain it--it just doesn't feel right for me. But I've known others who have wonderful BOS's.

yep i got it a few weeks ago.i put vincent by tim burton in there.i love that animation and the poem.also a calendar counting down to halloween :)

Yes I do it has my favourite spells and a few herbal remedies in it. I also use the parchment in it for casting stronger written spells.

I used to have the book of shadows, but it was very disturbing to me so i gave it away. It was called the quran. (muslim bible)
