Digilook,

Absolutely, and eternally. The reason is simple, but uncommon. I, after years of searching the religions and philosophies of man, have discovered the Truth. While it is good to know the Truth, it is powerless, unless you begin to live it. Jesus came to this world, to give us a message. Unfortunately, it has been mostly lost, in the confusion of man made religions. It is a simple, and elegant message, which has the power to change us forever. "The Kingdom of God, is within you". When we come to God, as humble children, and invite Him into our lives, He places His Spirit within us, and bonds with us. We become new creatures, part mortal, part Immortal. The old values of materialism and fear begin to die out. Love and Wisdom, become the new foundation of all our choices. In time, as we begin to realize the depth of love that He has for us, we leave our fears and weakness behind, and step into a spiritual way of life with limitless possibilities. When you understand that the Source of Life itself, is your loving Father, Peace reigns in your heart forever, and nothing can take it away. The true Children of God, fear nothing, but operate only on the principals of love for God, and love of Mankind.

Yep---always. Everyday---everyway. There is a peace in knowing that eternity is settled. There is a peace that passes understanding. It is difficult to put into words the peace that encompasses one when they turn the reigns of their life over to the author and finisher of their faith. Can worry add a day to my existance? I think not! Can worry give me one more dollar in my bank account. Nope! Can worry reassure me that God is still in control. Nope--it comes just from knowing that GOD IS ALWAYS in control. Whether I believe it or not.

It is also one of the fruits of the Spirit that is found in Galatians. So I guess you could say the reason I am at peace is because the Holy Spirit has filled me with that precious peace.

Hope you have a great weekend.

Yes I feel at peace. I am happy with my life.. I have a great husband, wonderful family, a job I love and hobbies which keep me fulfilled. I give of my time when I can (lately I have not been able to since I'm limited standing due to a partially torn Achilles) and I love seeing smiles on other peoples faces.

That is a very good and timely question. It is hard in this world today for many people to feel at peace during all the unrest, violence, weather, and general craziness going on. My personal peace comes from my relationship with Jesus. He has already conquered death, and knowing that, brings me peace. So no matter what happens in the 'world,' I know that my Savior has already conquered it for me.

Micah 5:5 "And he will be their peace."
John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you."
John 16:33 "...so that in me you may have peace."
Ephesian 2:14 "For he himself is our peace..."
Romans 5:1 "...and we have peace with God"
Romans 16:20 "The God of peace will soon crush Satan..."
Philipians 4:7 "...the peace of God which transcends all..."
Colossians 3:15 "...the peace of Christ rule in your hearts..."
2 Thessalonians 3:16 "...the Lord of peace himself give you peace..."
(And hundreds more)

Peace? There is a "false" sense of peace. Atheist scoffers feel at peace, an man's love, and that is short.

God has only one "Spiritual Rest". Love =agape

I have it :)

Good Question..

No, because I am without the one I love. He avoids me like the plague. I could be at peace with myself and the world if only I could be with him. I wish I could live the words, "Do not cling to being lost." Perhaps I could attain the peace I seek.........

YES

I don't have to accept the systems that were in place at the time of my birth, so being free from any religion and what they stand for is freedom, so that's one more freedom I have
