Ooh, great question.
Yes, it is a tangled heairachy.
If they werent imperfect, I would have no need to be curious or learn. I have to find the perfection. The more I learn and grow and evolve the more perfect it becomes yet more questions of it's imperfection comes also. We do all long for that day when we were unified but everyone believes it was in this existence. It seems that overlapping concept brought here to the physical is a good and bad thing. If people want to go "home" and stop trying here, things get messy, like they are now. We just need to bring "home" here with our creations, now that is contributing.
Reminds me of the matrix,--they kept waking up when the perfect world was made for them...... ;)

Yes. We human being always pursue self perfection, but no one can do that. We are perfect in some area while imperfect in some area. The two stuff could coexist.

Yes, I do it everyday! God is Perfect and I am imperfect and we work together. In Corinthians God says that he allows us to work with him. Isn't that so nice of him!?

I have a perfect seed,
to grow a perfect tree,
it grows in fetid soil,
to yeild a perfect fruit that has a perfect seed...
(fetid soil is a metaphor for society)

Perfection does not exist.
---- I just read other answers, and they got me. God is perfection. I guess I was thinking more on my plane of existence rather then His. :)
