Front line is super, it works on my dog too.

You can buy a thin toothed comb (special ones for getting rid of ticks) and comb it through your dogs hair. this usually works if there are only a few ticks and your dog has short hair - like a Labrador.

if you are patient enough, you can manually pick out the ticks using a tweezer, like after you have applied frontline, but some stray ticks still remain.

Front Line is the number one treatment for fleas and ticks. You can only get it from the vet

advantage works great on my dogs and i live in a high fleas and tick area, never have a problem
