what inspiration can anyone find in a religion such as islam where the mullah's encourage young muslims to become suicide bombers, and practice polygamy?

Any religion that teaches that their doctrine is superior to the rest cannot treat others as equal beings. They have to teach their followers that others are inferior. From this point the spirit of enmity gets filled into the mind of Muslims.
I think polygamy today is a misinterpretation by Islamic Scholars for their sexual pleasure. During ancient days when males were killed in wars the remaining men were asked to marry more than one to look after the widows of the soldiers who died. Today's Muslims are take advantage of this.

Man!..how many times do i need to say that....."DO NOT RELATE WHAT EXTREMISTS TERRORISTS MUSLIMS DO WITH WHAT ISLAM TRULY IS"......i'm a muslim and i'm against this suicide bombing killing innocent civilians...but please!..don't relate that with what's happening in lebanon and palestine as in these two cases muslims are obviously defending themselves from the Israeli invasion which you are afraid to call terrorists and i honestly don't know why?!...when an extremist muslim kills one innocent civilian you call Islam a religion of violence and bloodshed but when Israel kills hundreds of innocent civilians you can't even criticize the jews or call judism a religion of bloodshed!!!!...why?...'cause you are afraid to be called anti-semetic.....how cowardly!
and about killing people this is written in the Quran.."..if anyone slew a person unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land it would be as if he slew the whole humanity...."
And about anti-polygamy i thought that you know that its clear in the Islamic religion that a man can't marry a second wife if his first wife obligates from the beginning..but ofcourse in some extremists close-minded muslim countries a man can marry more than one wife even if his first wife said to him not marry a second women when they are married,even if that's said before marriage and the man agrees!
So don't become one of those superficial,ignorrant,stubborn and close-minded people who judge Islam by what extremist muslims do but read its undoubtful resources like the Holy Quran or what Muhammad(pbuh)said(that's if you are serious)!

I'm sorry, but your assumption is erroneous. The Islamic faith is against acts of violence; Muhammed believed in peaceful
resolutions. True followers of Mohammed are against polygamy and violence. The problem is, these terrorists have brainwashed the illiterate, poor and the young into believing the Koran states that "if you martyr yourself and kill the infidels in Allah's name you will be given 70 virgins upon your death." This is completely false and goes against the teachings of the Koran. Unfortunately, those who need to read it most are not allowed by these terrorist regimes and therefore have to trust them.
As for the strict oppression of women seen in Afghanistan while under Taliban rule, this too is against the teachings of Mohammed. Mohammed was pro-women and saw them as sacred beings. He wanted to protect them, not abuse and oppress them. Ironically, women in Afghanistan were not permitted to read the Koran by the Taliban...
What are you referring to is the extremists that can exist in any religion (ex: the exremist pro-life Christians who bomb abortion clinics) who do not follow their religion's faith doctrine. Right now, our world is seeing terrorists who say they are muslim and following Islamic tradition commiting gross acts of violence. As a result, most non-muslims who don't know about the Islamic faith assume the worst about Islam. Don't forget, the Catholics tortured, burned and killed thousands of non-Christian people during the Inquisitions, the puritans burned and drowned women as witches during the 19th Century in New England, the list goes on and on.
I hope you'll look at the websites that follow; we can all learn what is correct and false in order to see our neighbors as the good people they are and to fight against the real problem-the extremist factions.

islam doesnt encourage polygamy if the husband do not treat his wifes equally (it is forbidden in islam)
but if he can treat them equally and fair, and he have capability to earn money for them, islam says yes
it's better than if the husband get bored with his wife then he goes to whore

and polygamy has its rules. and it helps to balance the society.

what else do you expect? these people cant smoke, drinik, f uck, see their women, they gotta fast, they gotta go to mecca, they cant shave......sound like life on earth is hell compared to the heaven they're gonna find with 70 virgins once they become martyrs......wouldnt you blow your own ass up? too bad they usually want to take others with them.....guess they're worried about being bored....
