I died my a streak of my hair red (a big part at the front) and I hate it ,... it was only semi-perminant die that me and my friend where messing about with but I realy want it out. It says it should come out with 8-10 washes but I want it out quicker, are there any ways I can get it out? Also I'm going to the hair dressers on the 19th and I really want it out by then... how do hair dressers remove unwanted color? Thanks.

Ooo I should say that my hair is a mid-brown shade... it's not very dark .. but it's not pale brown either. I do keep my hair in a pretty good condition as far as I know. I don't straighten it to much and definatly don't die it loads either. I use a pretty expensive shampoo and conditioner which are very good.. so could that help the die come out? (I just washed it a second time)

shampoo your hair with regular dish soap twice. but you need to use a GREAT conditioner right afterwards. Because of the strong detergents that are in reg. dishwashing soap it can be strong enough to at least remove some of the color. so when you go to the hair dressers it will not be *** pronouced. Make sure you are honest with your stylist about what you have done so that way nothing will go wrong with your hair.

Well I don't know if this will make you happy or not but here goes... If your hair was damaged when you put the semi into it, the color will be absorbed and won't dump out in 8-10 shampoos like it says. As for how do we remove color.... it depends on what the client wants, the condition of their hair and the color. If you are a blond, they will probably try lifting the color with bleach and then choosing a color to tone out unwanted pigment left behind and then an all over color to bring you close to your original shade. Its hard to say without seeing your hair because every case is different. Hope it helps....Good Luck.

Nooooooo! Not precise in any respect! Your hair grows out of your roots now not your hints! You wont get longer hair in any respect, you can simply constantly maintain slicing off the period. Don't concentrate to any person who tells you it is going to make your hair longer, I have not reduce my hair in a 12 months and its beyond my hips, I have a few cut up ends however critically, it does not influence the best way your hair grows(cut up ends).

Go to the pharmacy or a beauty supply, they sell a product that takes out all dye that you put in your hair and leaves you with your natural hair color, then you can dye it the color you want.

I would keep washing it again and again until it came out.

All dye is relatively perminant and will take a while to fade out.

wash it 8 to 10 times in one day.
or call the local hairdresser and ask them. i think peroxide will work but it might strip your natural color.
