huh? u broke up with him 7 years ago?? then why has it taken you so long to get over him?
its like this: if he still kind of shows you or indirectly makes you feel that he still likes you, then you chat with him. but if its obvious that he doesnt care about you anymore, then theres no sense chatting with him. you have to move on because he's moving on already with his life and that's just so unfair on your part to be wishing for him still but he doesnt even care even a bit.
or...if he really still likes you until now, then he'll be the first one to chat with you. dont be the first one to do that because its so pathetic for a girl to be doing the first move. if he doesnt do the first move, just forget him and move on.
just remember that you deserve the best and he is not the best.

Go for it. After 7 years, tensions have probably cooled down to nothing, & he has probably moved on with his life. However, keep it friendly at first, as he may no longer have a romantic interest in you, & could even be married. I recently ran into one of my ex-girlfriends, & we had a great talk. I even got to know her current husband, & we got along well, too. I am glad we got to talk, & wish her all the best. I wish you the best of luck, too. He may not love you any longer, but he may still enjoy the chance to catch up with you.

Well, there is nothing wrong in chatting with him. Better confront you feeling and find out what hurts you. Maybe the idea of what if is in you mind right now. Sometimes, it is best to know the things that bugs your mind coz it is the only way to know the answer.

please go right now itself and chat.
If you still love him then why not express your feeling? He is alreasy your ex that means you have nothing to lose.
Make sure that you don't hang up there too much but make sure that atleast you talk with him in such a manner that you will be able to call him(please take the phone no from the chat it self if you dont have)

Have you talk to him since? Why did you break up? If you want to say hi, go ahead. What's it going to hurt? Do you want to get back with him? Is he marrie dor have a woman? If so, dont' get messed up in that! But if he's single and you know he still loves you then why not? Did he start a chat conversation with you?
