I boil 4-5 quart sized tea bags in a medium sized pan; after it boils, I let it sit for a while. Then I drain the tea into a gallon jug (I always squeeze the tea bags out) and add 2 cups of sugar, then fill the jug with cold water and shake it up. Sometimes I get dangerous and add pink lemonade Kool-Aid to the sugar - I think it's soooo good!

For a 2 quart pitcher. Boil 2 Lipton tea bags in a small pan of water. Mix with 1/2 cup sugar and water. For a larger pitcher use 3 tea bags and 2/3 cup sugar.

Personally, I don't make it, but my SIL comes for a visit each year and he's from down south. He uses my Mr. Coffee Tea Brewer and a ton of sugar. I always make sure I buy a 10lb bag before he visits.
