i am trying to convince my mom to let me get red highlights in my hair. yesterday she asked me "why should you be different?" "why cant you just be you?" i said " MOM this is me i love to be different!" HELP!! please hellp me find somthing to say to her to convinse her to let me get the highlights!!!

Tell her that you dont want to be like the rest of the girls. You are a different person. .... and if she is like my mom she will still say no but then you guys should make an agreement...maybe streakes with temp dye?

just go and get it done if you can, unless she is the one paying for it. by getting it done you are showing her that you are your own person and that this is just not a cry for attention or something. why wouldn't she want you to be an individual ( ask her that), what's wrong with standing out from the crowd, why follow the masses?
