My lovely neighbours have had several house paries this year. They have kept us awake until late and have never invited us.
Now I'm having a house party next week, should I invite them or not?? What would you do?

These are the neighbours that didn't invite you to their BBQ.

No. Let them suffer :)

It would depend on how well you know them, I'd probably throw them an invite just to break the ice. If you guys are going to be neighbors for a while, might as well get to know one another. It doesn't sound as if they are comfortable breaking the ice if it's been going on so long. What the hell, at least you will have a chance to see how your neighbors really are. If it doesn't work out for you, you'll know not to invite them again and there is always a chance that they might have plans over the weekend and not show up anyways. If this was to happen, they'll still remember that you asked and if they still don't invite you to their next, F**K THEM.

If you are wanting to go to their parties then yes so maybe you get an invite to their next one.
If you don't want to go to their parties don't invite them but I would call and let them know you are having a party to let them know there might be some noise.
Make sure you have fun and forget they are there and remember how they kept u up all night so keep the music going !!!

Invite them, but then spike their drink so they wake up at like noon the next day.

Plan it on a Sunday so they are late to work!

nah jk

You should invite them to a party that is at a distant location but then have the party at a different spot. That should send a message.

I guess it depends how you feel about them.....if you're on good terms then go ahead....if you're not...then forget them!

As for them not inviting you, since I have no idea what your relationship is, then I'm going to assume that you're slightly hurt about not receiving an invite?

Be the bigger person about it (although it may be difficult when your nose is slightly out of joint), and perhaps they'll remember next time to invite you....especially if they feel they owe you a return on the favour.

I would not invite them.
I would make sure to invite many noisy friends over.
I would have the party start late, so it runs late.
I would make sure someone brings fireworks for use later in the evening.
I would play annoyingly loud, bass laden music.
Play beer pong or other loud drinking games outside.
Make sure you invite a girl that has a loud and annoying laugh.

I think you should invite them. For one thing, you shouldn't let them drag you down to their level. Also, negativity breeds negativity, so why not break that cycle - you might end up getting on well with them in the long run. And as the famous theme tune goes - "Neighbours, everybody needs good neighbours" :)

From someone who did just that ... it worked!

I used to get so fed up with my neighbours parties, keeping me awake all night (On my nights off) 'til i had a party too! So i invited them to it. They came, enjoyed themslves until the woman went home to pick something up, came back, to tell me "The music is so loud! I can hear it in my bedroom" so i just smiled at her, said i could well imagine it was, as i got to hear hers non stop. She blushed a bit then admitted to me she never realised how loud it was elsewhere! Now my music was no way as loud as hers was but after that ... She made a point of turning it down a bit and even though it was still loud, i managed to sleep with my ear plugs (I couldn't before)

Now it worked for me so here's hoping it can work for you too!

Why were you not invited do you think? Do they not like you? Do they just not know you? Do they have a circle of friends and they just stay within that circle? Were all the other neighbors invited but you?

It is your party, invite who you want.

first of all do you know your neighbors at all, some people live close to each other without getting friendly, the noise yes that is a problem that should of been addressed long time ago. its your party you can invite anyone you like, its who you feel comfortable the most with will be your deciding factor.
