Everyday I wake up and make decisions for my life, just like you. I don't drink, smoke, curse, steal, etc, but I am overweight. You don't NEED the cigarette, alcohol, swearing, material things, etc to survive, but you NEED food to survive. I have no willpower when it comes to food. Food is my vice. I cannot control my arms when it comes to food because I have to eat daily and it's hard to say no to something that tastes so good. I love trying all the food out there. I know being obese is bad for your health and I know people make fun of me because I am obese. You can't compare food to drinking, smoking, or anything else that you don't need to survive. Food is necessary for survival. I just have a really hard time saying no to food. What if your bad habit was put in front of you multiple times a day? You can say no to your bad habit (smoking, drinking, etc), but you have to eat to survive. It's really hard. Please be more kind.

Stop beating yourself up over this. Everybody has their own healthy weight. If your doctor tells you you're 200 pounds overweight, then you could stand to lose a few pounds, but the threshold for obesity has come down by 150 pounds in the last 25 years. There are people that can't get below 250 pounds without suffering from malnutrition, and all those stupid, skinny doctors, that will never top 180 pounds because they were born scrawny, and will stay that way, think everyone should look like them. If you eat reasonably, and exercise a couple times a week, there's nothing wrong with you.
And, for the record, I'm a firm believer that for everyone (no matter how skinny or overweight), there's someone on earth that thinks they're a god/goddess.
I'm 38, 6'1" and 140 pounds. Yes, I'm scrawny. And I have no control over my weight, but I'm healthy.

It is actually because you don't smoke, drink, curse, etc. that you are overweight! LOL But as long as you can get around, who cares what anyone else thinks? Our bad habits are put in front of us everyday, sometimes we have to find something else to do or our bad habits will be the only thing we see everyday. Our minds have more than 60,000 thoughts per day, some of them we pay more attention to than others. There is no one cure for everyone that works the same way as far as dietary supplements. But I like to believe if you can find one fun thing that you like to do that doesn't invole food, then try to incorporate that into your daily thoughts and schedule as much as possible. Good luck in your oncoming struggle, and never feel depressed because some program worked for another person and maybe not for you. Having that thought alone (knowing you have a problem) is also a slow cure and a sure sign that you are seeking help. Never let the thought of finding help slip away and it will come in time. Be patient.

If you exercise 30 minutes a day, you can eat whatever you want and be thin. think about that.
now, you'll develop at the conditions from being overweight that you would have avoided not smoking, drinking, etc.
Being overweight is just as dangerous at smoking, drinking, etc.
get your blood pressure tested, asap.

I know just how you feel, but I guess it is a big effort on our part to put down the cheese burger from McDonald's for a say salad instead. I love food as much as you do and have the same problems. Maybe we can force feed our self salad. Naw I think, I will just be fat and happy, compared to all those skinny people who are really envious that we can eat that burger and they can't cause they are to worried about their weight.

Yes, Food is necessary for survival but if too much, it will danger your life..!
Don't blame people when thay make fun of you but blame on you for NOT loving yourself. Nobody can help you but YOU can !!
So from today onward, TAKE THE CHALLENGE . Control and monitor what you eat. You must make it clear, when you eat,not to make you full but just to avoid you from hunger. Just add a little effort to do a little exercise, I' m sure it will help you alots.. Please try that and be strong !!
