My biggest objection is the fact that we end up with so many people who obviously, by the very means with which they came into our country, prove that they have no respect for our laws. Even if we forgave and them and made it all okay, there is still that original fact standing over their heads, and I don't think we need new people who start out in that manner. We have enough crime and law-breaking going on, and I don't feel we need more who come with that mentality already in place.

My biggest objection is that no country, including the US, can afford to have open borders. If you don't object to illegal immigration, then you are suggesting that it is okay to ignore a law. It just doesn't make sense. It would be saying there is nothing wrong with fixing a vote or bribing an official or taking other people's mail. I just don't get how anyone could argue for ILLEGAL immigration. Immigration is another thing all together.

My second biggest gripe is really the same as my first. Illegal immigration makes legal immigration nearly impossible.

That it takes jobs from American citizens, drives down wages for many more people, burdens our social services when we have a cheap governent that keeps cutting them...

It's hard to state just one reason, but to say that the biggest objection, the worst thing about it is that "it's illegal" is a knee jerk reaction. We need to think about why it's illegal, and what should be changed, one way or another to make a better life for people who are in the US already and for those who want to immigrate here..

My biggest objection is that it is illegal, and these people are draining the funds that were paid for from our taxes. If they come legally and pay their taxes, like other legal immigrants, then I have no complaints.

illegal immigration is stupid, those immigrants do half the work in this country, give us your poor and hungry thats bullshit america wont accept the poor hungry and willing to work. you cannot possibly complain that the immigrants are breaking laws when the pres. of the us has broken almost every human right there is, hes this centuries hitler, human rights are far above and laws set down by any man because human rights are the laws set down by all men

That they are ILLEGAL! Their very presence here is illegal then we, as taxpayers, supply food and medical care for someone who isn't even supposed to be here - oh and we have to then make every thing en espanol to accommodate.

Come legally, learn the accepted common language (English) and I am more than happy to have you here and work with anyone who immigrates here.

Well, first off the word illegal. But by coming here and taking jobs for less money it has put many citizens out of work or lowered their standard of living, this claim by the repuglicans that they take jobs that Americans won't do is highly erroneous

My biggest objection is that they don't pay taxes but still get handouts from the government that Americans who have paid into their entire lives can't get. That isn't right. I don't care what anyone says.
