Get one of those dancing stuffed animals and every time the cat gets on the table turn it on. Or use a squirt bottle and spray it every time it gets on the table.

The best way is to use a water bottle which has a stream setting. Spray the cat with a stream of water while hiding as best you can so the cat doesn't know it is you doing it (this keeps the cat from being afraid of you). This "mystery stream" will scare the cat into staying down after a few times. He/she might need a reminder occasionally but I doubt since cats have great memories.

When she/he gets up onto something you want her to stay off be mean slightly and get the cat off the table maybe use a bottle of water to squirt on the cat to keep it off the table. And if the cat repeats it tweek its nose softly and tell him no just like a little kid kinda.

Get a spray bottle full of water, and everytime you catch your cat on the table spray water on it. It may take some time but they eventually learn: table=water.

use condition and response. For example, when you see your cat on the table spray them with a water. After a while when your cat sees the spray bottle they will know.

cats hate feel of aluminim foil and tape. Put some foil around the edges of table for awhile. put some double sided sticky tape here and there on it. don't leave food on table when you are not eating it :-) I used double sided sticky tape on my doors, because he was scratching them trying to get out. he doesn't do it anymore, hates the sticky stuff!!
