If you're single and on the prowl; bring any or all of the following:

A) You: looking your best.
B) A case of premium beer (If they're the kind that likes cheap beer, you don't want to attract them anyway, so you shouldn't even GO to such a BBQ).
C) A shiny, expensive BBQ tong set for the host.

If you're married and attending with your hubby, just bring an appetite and your casual party manners.

Whether you're single or married, if there's a hostess, bring HER something nice that's slightly personal in nature if you know her well, or that's relevant to outdoor cookery if you're not that well known to her.

How about a side dish or a dessert?

Salads are great- you could do a cold pasta salad.
Or bring some things to "munch" on- like celery sticks, carrot sticks, etc.

Desserts- anything like cookies- finger treats- cookie bars, etc.

I hope these suggestions help.

Have a good time at the party.

Ask the hostess/host what to bring. If they don't know, take wine or soda pop.
