It's tough, but if you just be yourself, don't pretend to be something you're not, then you will attract the kind of people that you really want to be around.
It's best to keep up on your studies and pay attention in class. There's plenty of time for fun after school, and on the weekends. Nobody wants to hang around with a dummy.
If you keep these things in mind, you will be very successful in the academic portion of your life.

I'm going to seventh grade too. My sister (who is going into highschool this year) said it really isnt too bad. If you want me to be truthful then heres some advice she gave me. The 8th graders watch out for the 6th graders, and the 7th graders get jealous over the 6th graders and dont like them alot. So therefor the 8th graders dont like you as much. Some people arent like this, but the majority of the people are. Just make sure you know who your friends are and stay with them because in 8th grade youll certainly need them.!

I had the time of my life in 7th grade!
Dont be scared 7th grade is so easy and fun just be careful of peer pressure because it is diferent from 6th grade ( drugs, sex, and alcohol)
Choose friends that will lead you the right way and watch out for the older guys all they want is sex and ect.
7th grade was my best grade hopely 8th will be just as fun.
dont party to hard

You're going to start getting more homework than you have in the past, and it will be important to stay on top of your assignments. People will want you to join their clicque, but it is important to remain an individual and not give in to the pressure to be one thing or another. It is a good idea to get involved in one or two clubs or sports to round out your life and expose you to new people. If you feel like people are staring at you, they're probably not. Most kids are too worried about themselves.

It is the most horrifying year of your life. All of the teachers cary a tazer gun and you only get 6 minutes for lunch. If you do not participate in class projects the teacher sends you to jeuvenile boot camp for social skills and if you are not in your seat when the bell rings. They make you stand up in front of the whole school (in the auditorim ) jump up and down waving your hands in a panicy motion screaming at the top of your lungs, I will not be late for my wedding much less my classes.

Don't worry be yourself, remember middleschool is a difficult time for everybody and everybody is worrying about what you think of them too! In a few years you'll go to high school and being an individual is more accepted. Good luck and stay true to yourself and what you know is right!

It's just like the 6th grade, but with a little more emphasis on learning a wider range of subjects.
