I am uninitiated in the world of webcam technology. I just got one a short while back and have it aimed at my feeders... how can I let others see the daily airshow I have on my porch?

this will be your token "i'm not a doctor, but i play one on TV" answer. I have absolutely nothing to offer that will help with your question, but what I can offer is moral support! no, but there are plenty of sites that show you 24-7 shots of things like "the intersection of Hashish and Dubensmoken Street in beautiful downtown Amsterdam, or "Hey, look at my boring office where I do nothing" -- you know, things of that ilk. So I know it can be done, and certainly it doesn't take much in the way of software, but you may need to set up a site, which, depending on the amount of video you need to stream, could cost a little more than, say, a plain text site, which is usually free. There are hundreds of hosting sites out there and just about as many sites that can recommend them. as usual, it will take about a week to research and get set up and go through all the technical rigamorole, but it is satisfying once you've done it and you can go to your site and see your fine work. If you'd like I can ask around and see if any of my nerd friends have done such a thing.
