The question isn't so much how many billions America is going to send to Mexico, but rather how many trillions are Mexicans going to bleed out of the US economy by coming here and draining our social services. Therefore, if it only takes a few billion to make conditions to the South "liveable," then it's worth the cost if you think long-term.

The US is supposed to give away all the money extorted from the US taxpayers for as long as the weak-willed, in all levels of government want, and if the taxpaying US CITIZEN objects, then we're seen as subversives.

It's been that way since Nixon.

None.

Wouldn't it be nice if our system was one of charities? Instead of having taxes taken from our pay and given to countries we don't want to support, we could just donate as we see fit.

I suspect if that were the system, most of us would take home everything we earn and put it back into our economy rather than supporting others around the globe.

I think we should ask for accountability for the billions we sent. And I don't see anything wrong with asking for accountability. I once had that figure it is astounding. Does not seem like they use it well. I wish they would cut it off .
