I'm going to the race track today and need to know. Say Seabiscuit is no. 6 and I want to bet $2 to show. Do I say 2 dollars on number 6 to show or what?

You can say 2 dollars to show on number 6 in the __ race. It always helps to mention the race number! The person at the window will let you know if you have left anything out!

First give the race number, the horse number, the amount of the bet, then the finish: "The sixth race, number 7 for $2 to win"

Its as easy as A-B-C

A - Amount : "$2.00"
B - Bet : "to show"
C - Choice : "Number 6, please"
