It all depends on which style the wine is made in. Chenin Blanc is very versatile and is most often made in these styles
- unoaked bone dry , crisp
- dry oak aged, heavy bodied
- off-dry to semi-sweet
- very sweet dessert wines
the first goes well with fish/seafood. light dishes/ The second will stand up to heavier dishes, white meats etc. The third is pleasant on its own, or with same dishes as first. The fourth is lovely on its own after dinner or with desserts.
Check the back label to see which style it is made in. Chenin come from the Loire, but often the variety isn't named on the bottle. More Chenin is grown in South Africa than anywhere else, the semi sweet ones are often labelled 'Steen' there

Chenin Blanc is a very light white wine so you don't want to put much in terms of food with it. However, some cheeses would go very well. For example, Brie or possibly Camembert would be okay but I wouldn't try to match it with an actual meal because the food would probably overpower it.

Pontac's answer is the best. I would also suggest that the semi-sweet version (perhaps a Vouvray) would go well with Asian food.
Thusfar I've found chenin blanc undergoes a negative personality transformation outside of the Loire. Other grapes can make interesting wine when grown in multiple regions, but chenin seems especially tempermental.
