ok - don't get mad at me but I use this tea stuff called NRG from Herbalife. It's amazing - it sort of takes the fog off your brain kind of. They also have a enw product called lift off which is just amazing in that it really wakes you up (but not in a caffeine overload kind of way) andhelps with productivity.

I am a very competitive person, so, the best way for me to study is a question and answer session with another student. If that isn't possible. Make out a list of questions for yourself. Then keep asking them until you get the right answer. The best way to do this is through Microsoft excel. This way you can remember without the order of the question because you can arrange the questions in many different orders. You don't know what order the test will be in. Good luck! Oh, and I have heard that eating chocolate is suppose to help!

Mmm...there's something inherently disturbing about people who can't spell.

But to answer your question, I suggest a three-step method of conscious change:

1. Concentrate on your result.

What do you want to achieve? You want to gain better concentration skills to do better in school, correct?

What is concentration? I would suggest you look it up on Wikipedia or a dictionary.

How will you achieve concentration? Move onto step 2.

2. Find the reason why you must concentrate.

You have to learn to concentrate to not only be able to focus on your studies, but also to help you in other areas of your life - in your health, your relationships, your business, your career. Create as many reasons why you MUST learn how to concentrate. And create many negative results that will come if you don't learn how to better concentrate. And move onto number 3...

3. Create your method.

Will you speed-read a whole complicated paragraph in a book and write down the main points that you got out of it to later re-read it in slow motion and see if you could change something, or maybe if you skipped a concept or an idea?

It's a good start, I think.

Or you can visit your local magician and focus on what you're not seeing. Ask them to do hand-tricks, and pay attention to both hands. Focus on the trick, where the coins really went, and where the hankerchief got dropped. This is another useful and simple exercise.

Hope it helps.

hi ravinder
sorry to hear u got a Reappear. but don't judge yourself on that. you topped once, didn't you? just cos u got a reappear now, doesn't mean u didn't top then. u did it once, u can do it again.
be a little bit more serious on your studies, particularly that subject. but don't isolate urself from other activities: they're all part of the learning experience
just try and hope for the best.
and remember, only 1 person can top. 99.9% and 99.8% have very little difference

You have to find out what is bothering you . Then start bye going in to your study area you use . Maybe a nice cd or some kind of relaxing music, . It will help you get back to work, Forget what is on your mine and concentrate on studying, Tell every one to leave you alone and not bother you for certain time,. , unless very important. If you cannot do it where you use to, them find a nice area to work in, away from everything else. Good Luck Pem

hi
For increasing your concentration you can try meditation. Also you should at least have at least seven hour sleep.Wake up early in the morning and meditate at least fit 10 min for 1 month then gradually make 10min to 15min.
Tip on meditation: sit in a comfortable position with your back straight and close your eyes .Now breath as you normally do but feel the air as it goes into your lungs and when it comes out(you can also count the no. of breathes i.e when it goes in it is one as it comes out it is2 and try to concentrate on it.don't let your mind wander.
another sugg.:do your routine activities i.e brushing etc with your left hand (if you are a right handed)and vice-versa.

Nobody can always be at the top of the class. Give yourself a break and take time off from studying. when you begin again, master one small area and then move on to the next.
