My husband is looking into the Stratford Career Institue for their cooking and culinary arts program. he asked me to look into it for him and I have been having trouble finding review that are not located on their website. He will be taking the course while I am finishing my university degree and attending teachers college. Along with this we have a 6 month old son so the distance studies aspect of it adds to the appeal. Could anyone with experience educate me on them or direct me to some links of unbiased reviews. Also it says the are a member of the BBB however when I check the BBB website I could not find them. Any suggestions?

I am looking into this Institute as well. (I hope these links work!)

You get a "Distance Learning Course Diploma" awarded from Stratford Career Institute, which is NOT a College Degree, Certification or License. However, distance learning degrees are better than having nothing beyond High School. At least it shows you tried to do something! I am still looking before I jump in.

American BBB

Canadian BBB
http://www.bbb-bec.com/main.cfm?p=421&l=en&page=1&MembreID=523&critere=stratford

Both report a "satisfactory record" The American BBB shows 69 complaints in the last 36 months and "The company has been responsive to any complaints brought to its attention by the Bureau."

They are a "Licensed Non-Degree School" listed on the State Education Office Website of Washington DC

Thank you Stratford Career Institute. Your course benefitted me in so many ways. Financial and personally I can succeed. I studied hard and was an A student this would not have been possible without you. Thanks again.
