She has been with us since 31/2 months and is very scared of evth.I have been feeding her nicely but she still doesnot like me coming towards herself and doesnot even allow me to touch her.What to do?

this cat wasnt properly socialized whtn it was young, you many never over come this (which is why its vey important to select your kitten carefully and get from a reputable place like an SPCA) you must force her to be held - feed her small amounts of canned food (chicken and rice mush is best) while holding her or patting her... dont feed her canned unless you are with her, keep her in a smaller room and make sure you spend as much time with her as possible - you really will have to force her to be held since she missed out on steps when younger you are not just retaming a cat that used to be tame - she probably never really was

Keep doing what you are doing. I adopted an abused cat from a shelter. I visited the shelter for days before she would let me even pet her. Nearly six years later, she is still afraid of certain things, but has become a lovely girl and a great companion. Keep loving the kitty, it will come around.

The cat was porbably abused and that's why it's afraid of everything. Just keep being gentle and loving and try to keep it away from load noises that will scare it even more.

Spend time with your cat. If she tries to bite you or scratch you ,you can just tap her the but this how i got my cat to be all up under me!
