A girl smiled on train, please tell me if I am wrong about this?

Question

So I was on my way home on the train tonight. Hardly anyone in the carriage, although there was an attractive girl a few seats away. I was arguing (trying to explain) something and I happened to glance over. She was 90 degrees to me but she was looking straight at me and gave me a smile that lasted probably a second. I didn't even click and just continued my conversation. I realised and waited to see if she would look again and she did. We locked eyes and smiled at the same time. Unfortunately I am too nervous/shy to approach so I didn't do anything. 20 minutes later I walked past her towards the door and glanced at her. She looked at me and we smiled, again.

Sorry for the length, but any ideas on whether she was interested or not? I'm guessing she was. If she was interested, what should I have done? She was taking both seats so I couldn't sit next to her, but there was a seat right across from her. Thanks for any advice.

I'd say she probably was. If you see her again and she looks & smiles... go for it!

Well what is done is done :( You should started a conversation with her! Next time-if there will be a next time-do not just look at her! Eyes are the mirror of your soul-they say. So if some girl you like look at you that special way-do not hesitate!!! Start a conversation!

If you see her again, make it a point to sit as close to her as you can. Start up a conversation with her. Then take it from there. By making eye contact, she's noticing you.
