Nearly every town has a "bird-lady" (or man) who is licensed to keep raptors and other injured or abandoned wild birds. The people in animal control or any division of wildlife office will know who yours is. If you want your dove to live, you should contact that person. Also, I'd be really surprised if you don't find more specific information for doves on the internet. Look up "carrier pigeons", there's probably a lot on caring for them. Or, did you want me to research that for you?
If its a really small baby, an eye-dropper with insects and grains blended in a blender. Earthworms will work (blended) but that isn't natural dove food. No milk! They need water, and a source of fine gravel (too small to choke them). And, they need to be kept warm.

first, put it in a box over a heating pad to keep it warm. go to the pet store and buy some bird mixture. theres this stuff called "exact" and you mix it with water and feed it to him with a tiny "surenge" you might have to hold open its mouth. feed him about once an hour. but you should only do this until you get a hold of a proffesional bird rescuer. they can raise the bird and set it free, or teach you how to keep the dove specifically.

First, why are you caring for it? Did it fall out of a tree? Has it sustained any injuries? If it is just a fall, leave it be or look for the nest and see if you can replace it. This is the time of year when they are hatching/trying to learn to fly. Let it try on its own first.
