To be hated for being yourself. In this you are being honest. Being loved for someone your not will always end in disaster.

Well hated is a strong word and I'd rather say disliked. But I truly believe in being yourself and honest is the best policy.,So if I'm disliked for it, then so be it. Either they get over it or don't bother with me. some folks just can't take the truth. Anyway how could someone love another for someone they're not? I don't really understand that. Unless you live in a make believe fantasy world, anyone who knew you, should know exactly what & who you are. That is a hard statement to discern. It implies that you've been acting out a part to someone and they have fallen for it. Very disturbing issue if thats the case........

Love me or hate me, it's still me at the end of the day. You can, if you choose; lie to everyone about yourself but it will make you crazy if you lie to yourself and that's a pretty high price to maintain some facade for the benefit of people who can't accept you for you. I think you question has merit, if your asking that as well. I don't think of any individual when I respond to this question if you meant that. With all respect that you may be entitled to I'm a little unclear as to the way you've worded the last part of your question. Regardless I hope my two cents helps you with whatever your trying to figure out, take care.

The first one. If you are hated for being who you are, at least people will not be hurt when you change, they will be happy. If you are loved for being something you're not, they will suffer when they find out who you are because, sooner or latter, they will. Making them suffer is worse than making them hate you. Even if they hate you, they will still respect you for being true to yourself and to them.

It's a good question. I'd rather be hated for being myself. Honesty is very important to me and I couldn't stand myself if I tried to be something I wasn't. While some people may hate me for being myself, odds are there will be some who love me for being myself.

I prefer the first choice. At least I am what I am, rather than pretending to be someone else.
I will mend my ways if I am being hated by people that I care about. For the rest, to heck with them. Who needs their judgement?

I have never cared what people think about me, so I would say being hated for being yourself.

kinda like the chicken and the egg? Well, the chicken came first. As for your riddle-its better to be hated for being your self. At least you will be honest. And the hatred may help guide you if you are wrong. If you are not wrong, and the haters are-then maybe they will realize their faults.

I rather be hated for being myself because I want to be realist and not a phony. If someone really love you for who you are. The
Good, Bad and the ugly side of you that person will love you for what you really are.
