How many women care if they are worth respecting? How many men have self esteem enough to respect anyone? Good question because at least for me it brings up tons more.

If you look around the world, you will see that women are not respected very much by men. Female babies are aborted in China all the time. Women in the Middle East are given no human rights. Women are murdered all the time in Juarez Mexico. Women are treated like sex objects all around the world and are not paid the same salary as men. Go to a good library and you will see the facts are true. Some men are unable to talk to a woman like they talk to each other. Its as if women are from another planet, but this is false. Please do not take my word on this alone, the truth is easy to find. I once wrote a question on this forum, on why guys were jerks sometimes, and you should see the hate I was subjected to.
Good men are not easy to find, but they exist. The problem is, the bad ones are easy to find. Other men have subjected me to plenty of hate for no reason whatsoever. I hope you have good friends in your life, regardless of gender. Jesus said, love each other, the way I have loved you. This is the great commandment along with loving your father in heaven. With love and great respect.

I don't think it is a sex based question, I think that it is a people based question. I can just as easily ask "how many women respect men now a days?" I have see some women that due to the way they talk, dress, and behave demand very little respect because they have almost no respect for themselves.
If a guy treats me with no respect,,,,,,,,,he is history. I have also had women treat me with no respect.
I think it is a person to person issue. Maybe you should evaluate yourself, your behavior and the people you are hanging around with and see if some radical changes need to be made.

I have got no idea how many men respect women these days .But as a male I have a lot of respect and admiration for women who have to put up with unrespecting and down right rude males everyday.i would like to see just how long some men would last if a woman showed them as much direspect as they show women i don't think they would last to long.my hat goes of to the real heroines out there the women of this world they do an awesome job and men need to realise just how much we depend on them every day.

It's cultural. Some cultures repsect women more, others don't.
Here in America, not many men respect women. Mostly due to the media. If the media portrays women as fast and easy...can you really expect men to expect differently?
But there are men who do respect women...so, don;t think it's all bad.

That depends on the girl. We teach people how to treat us and people will only do to us what we allow them to do.
Sadly, there are too few 2-parent homes today where parents lead by example and teach their children values.
