IN this world there seems to be nothing free.More over when people are starving ,not so many organosations to help them. Are these Ngos and aid workers backed by the fire arm producers?Of course, only the funeral parlours are happy whe a person dies.Like wise ,for the arm dealers and the manufacturers to survive ,therer should be a war.
Is that ,what is happening all over?Is this right? Are we all happy about this? In sri lanak we have more than 250 of them.As far as i can see there mission is coming to an end because the war has slowly begun. How do these aid workers get money?have they been donated by governments?Do they have yearly financial statements and audits?

No, NGOs are not backed by arms producers. Arms producers are backed by governments.

NGOs -- at least those in the US, and I'm sure in most other countries -- are required to publicly report their finances every year. In the US, nonprofit organizations have to file a Form 990 with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) every year which details all of their financial activity, including who they've given money to, and where their money has come from.

You can find Form 990s for free online at http://www.guidestar.org
