I am still in love with my ex and he keeps me hanging on although he tells me that he is seeing other people. We both enjoy each others company and laugh a lot. He is over seas at the moment and I miss him so much. I know I need to move on but I don't know how to do it, I still want to be friends with him. I don't feel that I belong anywhere I only came back to live in this area because of him and I don't want to go back to where my parents are because there is nothing there for me either, what am I supposed to do.

Sounds like he wants the best of all worlds..wants you and wants to keep himself very pleased. Don't waste your time on a guy like this...it is sad you are probably really in love with him...Keep your options open also, and you should let him know you are also going to see other people, if you absolutely just have to stay with him..maybe if he sees the real threat of maybe losing you, he will think about it and straighten up. You seem like a very loyal, loving person, and he just ain't ready to settle down. You have a choice to make, sometimes playing their little games works the best...even if you DON"t see anyone else, tell him you are going to take his example, and see other guys also...ha ha. .would love to hear his response. Good luck darlin, I somehow feel you could have any guy you really wanted..but don't waste you time on someone beneath you.

It seems like you need to join some group or club and start meeting other people. What are your hobbies and intrests?
Don't just sit at home and let life pass you by, start meeting other people and rediscover yourself. You may meet a new boyfriend or future husband.
1. Join a gym or take an excercise class
2. take a class at your local community college for fun or start working toward a degree.
3. Do volunteer work , helping others is very rewarding and helps you realize how truely blessed you really are
4. Join a church and get involved in their clubs and activities.
Consider your private pity party over. Start moving!

You are in a good position for love now. There is history and new adventures ready for you . Oh you will have a few nights alone but you really can survive without it every night. Just remember that marriage is only for babies and dreams so be real. Start by making up a few spares for this winter when you will need them.
