I'd rather not think about Italians as being any certain way. That would be stereotyping everyone based on what is known about a few. But I can say this: I really really like Italian foods. Eggplant Parmesan is my favorite dish. I love to create pestos and marinaras. I think Italians are famous for their "latin lover" image. I worked with an Italian fellow from Baltimore MD (USA) and for the most part I did like his style and preferred ways of living. I don't think he liked black people. He called them Moolians or something like that. Actually, I think that was the Italian word for eggplant. Also, Italian women can sure be beautiful. When i lived in NY state, there was an Italian family (Vezzose) that I knew. They always fed me when I went to their house to visit. That would be regardless of whether or not I was hungry.

You are curious! Well i travel there frequently on holiday and work. Italians are very polite, take care of their appearance better than us in the UK, both sexes, maybe a little too concerned about how they look but as an outsider that's OK Very friendly and outgoing, strong family bonds with children the centre of attention. Politically maybe you vote for the easy option instead of for a stronger person because you do not like hard medicine (who does!) and as a result economic situation remains weaker than it should be. You have kept your culture, great towns and cities not ruined by poor architecture, great food and wine, still not easy to buy a burger, keep it that way.Great footballers but they fall over too easily

Impossible to generalise, but Italy is a beautiful place with a wonderful climate, long history and cultured people. Any nation that produced Pavarotti and Loren can't be wrong! And don't get me started about Monica Belluci, the world's most beautiful woman...

I have heard that the Italian people are very friendly and welcoming and hospitable, I have heard that the countryside is stunningly beautiful though I don't think that vegetarians are catered well for. It is one place in the world that I would really like to go one day. For the history and the culture and the countryside and the weather.

Italian women are among the most beautiful in the world. Most of the world's greatest artists in history have been Italian. The thinnest book in the world is called "Italian War Heroes".

I've been around Italy, to Naples, Sicliy, Rome, Pisa... and everywhere I went I found the people to be very nice, friendly, helpful and open. The food is great too. The only thing I didn't like was the drivers in Naples- they were crazy!

Italy is one of the most beautiful countries I have visited with its gorgeous lakes, mountains, and beaches. It also has some of the best food and art in the world. The people are very helpful when learning and trying to speak their language.

I can't wait to go back! Italia, ti amo!

I have never been to Italy, but it is high on my list of places I want to see. I hear it is beautiful there. I also hear that the people are kind, good looking, and fun loving, which is another reason I want to go there.
