Gee, only thing that comes to mind are...when I go to the deli I ask the butcher if they will "shave" the baked ham. That is little tiny slivers that are good for sandwiches and it goes alot further.
"Carve" a turkey. You can cut the meat "Julianne" style meaning at a slant, catercorner, in long thin strips. To "score" a ham you barely cut across the ham breaking the skin making a lattace pattern. That's all I can think of right now.
