1st of all i want to thank you for your polite way to ask your question, but let me correct your information about us (i am sure that all your information about islam from non muslims )
1- yes we believe in one & ONE ONLY God ( not 3X1 !!! )
2- the God that we worship is the same God you worship & the same God the gews worship & the same God all prophets peace be upon them worshipped ...... Allah literally means "The God" in English and "El Dios" in Spanish. its only translated to arabic ( the arab christians call the God ' allah' too because they speak arabic so its about arabic language )
3- i dont know what is the realation between islam & the moon !!! really dont know ,, he is the God of every thing not only the moon !!! but i am sure the 1 who told you this is non muslim they always try to spread lies about us ( like saying we worship black stone in the desert lool )
4- who said Moshammad peace be upon him is Jesus Peace be upon him ? we as muslims believe both of them are prophets from God almighty .
read those verses from quran support what iam saying:
--our God
112:1 SAY: "He is the One God:112:2 "God the Eternal, the Uncaused Cause of All Being112:3 "He begets not, and neither is He begotten;112:4 "and there is nothing that could be compared with Him.
59:22 GOD IS HE save whom there is no deity: the One who knows all that is beyond the reach of a created being’s perception, as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature’s senses or mind: [27] He, the Most Gracious, the Dispenser of Grace.
59:23 God is He save whom there is no deity: the Sovereign Supreme, the Holy, the One with whom all salvation rests, [28] the Giver of Faith, the One who determines what is true and false, [29] the Almighty, the One who subdues wrong and restores right, [30] the One to whom all greatness belongs! Utterly remote is God, in His limitless glory, from anything to which men may ascribe a share in His divinity!
59:24 He is God, the Creator, the Maker who shapes all forms and appearances! [31] His [alone] are the attributes of perfection. [32] All that is in the heavens and on earth extols His limitless glory: for He alone is almighty, truly wise!
---mohammad peace be upon him in islam :
3:144 Muhammad is no more than an apostle: many Were the apostle that passed away before him. If he died or were slain, will ye then Turn back on your heels? If any did turn back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah. but Allah (on the other hand) will swiftly reward those who (serve Him) with gratitude.
33:40 Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things.
---jesus peace be upon him in islam :
4:171 O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, [180] and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. [181] Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God.
3:45 Lo! The angels said: "O Mary! Behold, God sends thee the glad tiding, through a word from Him, [of a son] who shall become known as the Christ [32] jesus, son of Mary, of great honour in this world and in the life to come, and [shall be] of those who are drawn near unto God.
3:55 Lo! God said: "O jesus! Verily, I shall cause thee to die, and shall exalt thee unto Me, and cleanse thee of [the presence of] those who are bent on denying the truth; and I shall place those who follow thee [far] above those who are bent on denying the truth, unto the Day of Resurrection. In the end, unto Me you all must return, and I shall judge between you with regard to all on which you were wont to differ.
3:59 Verily, in the sight of God, the nature of jesus is as the nature of Adam, whom He created out of dust and then said unto him, "Be" - and he is.
4:157 and their boast, "Behold, we have slain the Christ jesus, son of Mary, [who claimed to be] an apostle of God!" However, they did not slay him, and neither did they crucify him, but it only seemed to them [as if it had been] so; [171] and, verily, those who hold conflicting views thereon are indeed confused, having no [real] knowledge thereof, and following mere conjecture. For, of a certainty, they did not slay him:
4:159 Yet there is not one of the followers of earlier revelation who does not, at the moment of his death, grasp the truth about jesus; [173] and on the Day of Resurrection he [himself] shall bear witness to the truth against them.
5:110 Lo! [131] God will say: "O jesus, son of Mary! Remember the blessings which I bestowed upon thee and thy mother-how I strengthened thee with holy inspiration, [132] so that thou couldst speak unto men in thy cradle, and as a grown man; and how I imparted unto thee revelation and wisdom, including the Torah and the Gospel; [133] and how by My leave thou didst create out of clay, as it were, the shape of [thy followers'] destiny, and then didst breathe into it, so that it might become, by My leave, [their] destiny ; [134] and how thou didst heal the blind and the leper by My leave, and how thou didst raise the dead by My leave; [135] and how I prevented the children of Israel from harming thee when thou camest unto them with all evidence of the truth, and [when] those of them who were bent on denying the truth were saying, `This is clearly nothing but deception!"'

There is Almighty God, there is Jesus Christ, and there is what is known as the Holy Spirit. The three are separate and only two are spiritual 'persons'. The holy Spirit is simply God's power, what He uses to accomplish things. It is NOT a personality in its own right. No more than electricity can act on its own. Jesus cannot be Almighty God himself because almighty God created Jesus as the very first of his creations. Proverbs 8;22-31. Your last statement is correct. Almighty God can only be approached THROUGH his son, Jesus. NOT THROUGH any other source.

Islam is the religion of science, knowledge, and proofs. On what basis you build your belief? We don't accept blind faith as we live in the 21 century and God provided us with superior mental capabilities and brains to use not to put on the shelf and made us accountable on this basis and the basis of free will. Please provide us with any VALID evidence to support your faith or keep your faith to your self but think again. Allah is the proper name of God and it has nothing to do with the moon and I am sorry to tell you this indicate your ignorance in both Islam and the Arabic language. Jesus son of Mary PBUT is just a servant of God, and God was not and is not and will not as He is the Greatest Most High, glorified above time and space, will not be humiliated on the cross by the enemies of humanity the Jews, and the only way to God and the Paradise if you are interested is through the gate of Islam, by admitting the true oneness of Allah and by following his final prophet Mohammad PBUH teachings and I have the evidences.

I am really amazed how you people don't realize the contradiction in your first sentences. How can it be one God that is three at the same time ??!! How can God be the son and the father, at the same time ?!?! Or do you mean that he is of two persons ?!?!
I don't know from where do you guys bring these bullshits about worshiping a moon god ! Is there a moon on the Kaa'ba the most important mosque ?!
About the Bible, I thought everything was settled by Mr.Ahmad Deedat in his debates with St.Swaggert download it at:

For God's sake, friend, get your facts straight. Allah is simply the Arabic for 'God'. It is the name used by both Muslims and Christians whose native language is Arabic, and is etymologically related to the Hebrew El(ohim) as well as the Aramaic Alaha (or something to that effect).
For another thing, I think you'd be very surprised if you knew what the Qur'an teaches about Jesus, how He came into the world, what it means when a Muslim says that Jesus is 'not God's Son', where He presently is, whether God permits intercession to be made before Him, etc.
And you just gave me an idea for a cool question...

sir, the moon simple is because the month of Ramadan. this is the most important month in Islamic calender. the month of which we should fast. and this is the month when the Quran went down on Muhammad. we tell the beginning of this month by looking at the shape of the moon. if the moon become in certain shape, we indicate the beginning of the month.
and Yes your God is Allah. bring me the Aramiac real Bibile of Jesus. go make ur own research on who's God that Jesus used to worship by his mother tounge. Jesus used to worship a God called Allaha.

Allah is formless and see us everywhere
Mohammad was a prophet but he is a human, so we don't pray human beings but we pray only ALLAH
so Christ is a human afterall, why do you pray a dead man, in the form of a statue(build of stones and metals)

It is when anyone breaks the First Commandment: Thou shalt have no other gods before Me... ..", he or she becomes liable to the wroth of ALLAH ALMIGHTY. Throughout history people attempted to pervert that commandment, pagans, Christians and Jews. The connotations here, are they all speak and believes in gods, not one but, as many as they can feed it into others minds to deviate them from what is accepted by ALLAH as normal and righteous.
There are enough parables in the Qur’an and the Sirat of Prophet Muhammed (May ALLAH exalt his mention), tellingly describe those who deviate as worshipers of Jibt and Taghoot, in other words Tyrants and devils.
Just to offer a few of the many contradictions and errors of that which is being presented as the Word of God in the Bible I would like to quote the research of scholars of the Bible:
VERSES THAT CONTRADICT THEMSELVES
Genesis 6:3 and Genesis 11:11 - Life limited to 120 years?

John 5:20 - The Father showed the son.
John 5:30 and 6:38 - Jesus and God had different wills.
John 5:31-32 - Jesus' witness was not true.
John 6:11 and 11:41-42 - Jesus gave thanks.
John 6:32 - The Father was the provider, not the son.

Acts 2:22 - Jesus was "a man approved of God."
Romans 8:34 - Jesus was an intercessor.
1 Timothy 2:5 - Jesus was the mediator between God and humans.
If you break the First Commandment “Thou shalt have no other gods before Me... .." Then, you will not enter Heaven. Associating partners to God is an unforgivable sin, be it Jesus or anyone or anything else. Muslims believe in one, unique, incomparable God, Who has no son nor partner, and that none has the right to be worshipped but Him alone. He is the true God, and every other deity is false. He has the most magnificent names and sublime perfect attributes. No one shares His divinity, nor His attributes. In the Quran, God describes Himself:
Say, “He is God, the One. God, to Whom the creatures turn for their needs. He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none like Him.” (Quran, 112:1-4)
No one has the right to be invoked, supplicated, prayed to, or shown any act of worship, but God alone.
God alone is the Almighty, the Creator, the Sovereign, and the Sustainer of everything in the whole universe. He manages all affairs. He stands in need of none of His creatures, and all His creatures depend on Him for all that they need. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing, and the All-Knowing. In a perfect manner, His knowledge encompasses all things, the open and the secret, and the public and the private. He knows what has happened, what will happen, and how it will happen. No affair occurs in the whole world except by His will. Whatever He wills is, and whatever He does not will is not and will never be. His will is above the will of all the creatures. He has power over all things, and He is able to do everything. He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and the Most Beneficent. In one of the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad , we are told that God is more merciful to His creatures than a mother to her child. God is far removed from injustice and tyranny. He is All-Wise in all of His actions and decrees. If someone wants something from God, he or she can ask God directly without asking anyone else to intercede with God for him or her.
God is not Jesus, and Jesus is not God. Even Jesus himself rejected this. God has said in the Quran:
Indeed, they have disbelieved who have said, “God is the Messiah (Jesus), son of Mary.” The Messiah said, “Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord. Whoever associates partners in worship with God, then God has forbidden Paradise for him, and his home is the Fire (Hell). For the wrongdoers, there will be no helpers.” (Quran, 5:72)
God is not a trinity. God has said in the Quran:
Indeed, they disbelieve who say, “God is the third of three (in a trinity),” when there is no god but one God. If they desist not from what they say, truly, a painful punishment will befall the disbelievers among them. Would they not rather repent to God and ask His forgiveness? For God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. The Messiah (Jesus), son of Mary, was no more than a messenger... (Quran, 5:73-75)
ALLAH is our God, The Noble Qur’an is our constitution, Islam is our religion, Prophet Muhammad (May ALLAH Exalt His Mention) is our Prophet and leader, and death in the path of ALLAH is our goal.
Jesus Confession, I AM Not Omnipotent?
1. Jesus does not know of the Day of Judgment.
Matt 24:36 But of that day and hour no man know, not the angels which are in heaven, nor the son, but only the father.
2. Jesus does not have unlimited access to God's knowledge.
Mark 5: 25-32 When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed. Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering. At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, Who touched my clothes? But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it.
3. Jesus himself acknowledges that the Father is greater than himself and how he does not have the ability to access his father's resources,
* Jon 14:28 My father is greater than I.
4. The following verses further prove how Jesus is unable to tap into all the powers of God.
Luke 6:12 One day Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray and spent the night praying to God.
Hebrews 5:7 During Jesus days on earth, he offered prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him?
Matt 27:46 My God My God why hast thou forsaken me? Furthermore, if Jesus were God than why does he not say in this verse, Myself, Myself, why hast I forsaken Myself? Would not this be complete nonsense?
