No one can tell you how many because there is no way to count them.

Also, most people don't ask everyone they meet what their religion is. I never have. And very very few people who I meet have ever asked me what mine was.

So I would assume that quite a few people have no idea that they have met a Jew. Most people don't even know that lots of entertainers are Jewish.

But I have to ask - Does it matter? You don't seem concerned about whether anyone ever met a Buddhist. Most people feel the same way about Judaism.

No, I've never met a Jew. I don't think I've answered any questions about Judaism; at least no non-trivial ones.

I think common stereotypes about Jews, these days, are that they always side with Israel (in controversial subjects like settlements, the wall etc) and want to kill Arabs. I've seen plenty of Jewish people in the media that defy that stereotype, so I'm glad to say I don't believe in it.

To me Jews blend in. After my husband had been there awhile, we learned he was Jewish. As for the normal stereotypes, there is not a single one (except wealthy) that fit him. Ever seen a 6ft tall Jewish man throw someone out a door? definitely not stereotypical

no I haven't because I live in a Muslim country.
no I haven't answer any questions that involve Judaism.
people around me don't like Jewish people so much ....... you know that relationship between Muslims and Jewish which I really hate it, that's racism.
when I bye too many things my mom used to say: did you kill a jew and took his money? .............that's the only stereotype that I know I guess :)

I have 4 Jewish cousins who I have met on a few occasions ( they live in England I live in Ulster). I have never answered any Jewish questions as I wouldn't be qualified to answer but I have to admit that Judaism fascinates me.

Gosh...of course we know people of jewish faith. I don't care to continue the ranting and rage about sterotypes on this forum.. it's getting out of hand... they are people just like you and me and I'm for one tired of everyone lumping them into one cateogry of hate all the time. The same way we should NOT blame all arabs for Sadams/Osamas idiocy is the same way we shouldn't treat any other faith or ethnicity for the action of a few..... instead of looking for additional characteristics and or sterotypes to lambast them with how but looking for what makes us similar and try to solve our differences and problems.
