Yes, I would die to defend my faith..
Yes, by definition of SINNER... we all have forsaken our faith at somepoint.. the MERCY of our father is what saves us from hell.
Faith is the most precious gift, without it you will spend eternity seperated from god.
Sell my faith? Never.. advertise it? Always...

I'm a Christian, and am not required to die to defend my faith. I may die as the result of decisions I make, but that is true for everyone. There is nothing I can do or say that will change the fact that Ressurection is the only way out of this world alive. And the Ressurection will cost both the prince and the pauper, everything they have.

My life is dead and hidden with Christ. It is His to do with as He wills. Live or die I do it for Christ. My faith is the most precious thing I have and the only thing that will remain long after this world passes away.I will not sell my faith with my life but I would sacrifice my life for my faith if God demanded it of me.

I am actually looking forward to the experience of dying although I am happy to wait for as long as it takes. As for faith.... I do not have much faith in it - as it were - so I will sell it in a flash. Make me an offer.

Thank God ( no pun intended), He hasn't put me in that position.
I believe I would die for my faith. I haven't forsaken my faith since I've been "born again" 9 years ago. I think God knows how weak I am, so hasn't put me in that position. I wonder why He hasn't allowed me to be put in that position. I think maybe it's because He want's to use me for other things.

When you have Jesus, I mean truely have Jesus, you never want to live without Him. It's your only guaranteed true HOPE for Heaven. No other god guarantees Heaven. I don't have to earn my way, when I trust that Jesus will carry me there, unconditionally. I don't believe I could sell my soul for anything.

I don't think we can say we really 100% believe in something unless we are willing to put it really in top position - even beyond our earthly life. And in the circles I've traveled in in this life, it has been very carefully taught that that is exactly what we should expect from ourselves, what God expects from us, etc.

That having been said, the only way to know for sure is to pass the test. And one thing is certain: no one who is being tested that way will be writing on Yahoo Answers because they have to focus all their energy on enduring to the end, and no one who has passed the test will be around anymore to tell us about it... They will have gone on to bigger and better (and more eternal) things.

Say: O ye lovers of the One true God! Strive, that ye may truly recognize and know Him, and observe befittingly His precepts. This is a Revelation, under which, if a man shed for its sake one drop of blood, myriads of oceans will be his recompense.
(Baha'u'llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha'u'llah, p. 5)

I would never forsake my God. A martyr's death removes all of his/her sins, and they are REWARDED in the next life. Why forfeit that? For pain? Forfeit a limited time of pain for eternity with God? I welcome a martyr's death.
