Should he have come clean and admitted he was juiced, rather than lie to the public. Or will he be in more trouble now that the test results came back positve?

They should all admit they are juiced. It is impossible to finish the Tour without using doping.
All the rest is just hypocrisy

Your question is complicated because it assumes Landis' guilt. Landis should come clean and admit if that was the case, but I cannot say for certain that that is the case yet. The presence of synthetic testosterone is damning, but it is important to wait for the results of the USADA investigation. I will say that Landis' ever changing theories as to why things turned up positive, (cortisone? alcohol? fatigue?) do not help his case and that continuing to emphasize that his testosterone was normal and the epitosterone low seem like an attempt to keep the focus off of synthetic testosterone.

He should definately come clean. All athletes that are found to be unequivocably guilty should just tell the truth. They just look like idiots by keeping on denying it.
