Maybe you can work part-time as a dog walker for people in your neighborhood. That way, you can spend some time with dogs and maybe even make a little money while you are doing something you enjoy. my mum wouldnt let me have a dog either so i started going around with a ladymy mum knew she has 4 dogs and becuase i keep walkin her dogs my mum lets me take a dog down n we r now thinking about another one!

okay...gramatically speaking that's a statement not a question. Try to give her good reason to get one not just "because I want one" and you need to make a commitment to take care of it and what it leaves behind. Try talking to her as an adult and finding out the real reason why she doesn't want you to have one and try looking at it from her perspective.
