Well, the answer seems simple enough, but I don't want to lose my best friend in case it doesn't work out! We're both single and available, and it seems strange that we're considering this after so long, but anyways what would you do???

Thanks for all your answers so far! I'm going to have a hard time choosing one of you guys! Anyway 9 inches, there has never been an intimate relationship, and we're both not dating anyone! I'm always playing Cupid on top of that, but I'm kinda confused right now!

This is proof that love at first sight does not exist. You should be flattered that your best friend has such strong feelings. He probably knows more about you than any of your ex-boyfriends. Just think he already knows what you're like when you're hyper, sad, upset..etc. so there won't be any surprises there. I dated a good friend of mine and things didnt' work out in the end but we're still friends. Not all relationships end horribly. If you're best friends to begin with, just think how much closer this will bring you!! Good luck! And remember to have fun!!

Dating can be a very tricky thing. If you add the factor that your going out on a date with your friends, that can make it even trickier. However, if it is somebody you really do care about, than it could work. And the friendship will most likely mend if it doesn't work. So I guess my answer is, Go for it.

Look you're best friends, you get along, what the hell.. come on its like saying you're going to take a step foward and do different things. I think things could only get better. A best-friend wouldn't let friendship change over problems in a relationship..n' thats forreal..if it doesn't work out..its okay cause you're best friend is supposed to be down with you no matter what-RIGHT?..I hope everything works out with you n' your situation.

I consider it as blessings from the heaven , go ahead and enjoy your life , no bossing around , no extra ordinary expectation , no hot argument , share all the responsibilities together , make it very clear before you enter in a firm relationship , agree on all the issues will emerge after marriage .

Love and Friendship - "Love is like the wild rose-briar, Friendship like the holly-tree The holly is dark when the rose-briar blooms But which will bloom most constantly? The wild-rose briar is sweet in the spring, Its summer blossoms scent the air; Yet wait till winter comes again And who will call the wild-briar fair? Then scorn the silly rose-wreath now And deck thee with the holly's sheen, That when December blights thy brow He may still leave thy garland green. "

Fall in Love with your best friend back. You may lose a friendship, but you may gain "the soul mate" you have been dreaming of.

i would recommend not dating your best friend. what if it doesn't work out? my best friend and i briefly dated, and after it was over, we didn't speak for months, its all good now and we are closer than ever, but not all people are so lucky. if you do decide to go that route, just know things will change greatly. best of luck to you :)
