You feel you need to care for them. That's sweet ( I really hope not pervy) maybe you want a family yourself? I used to be a single mum and was never short of male admirers so not all men are turned off by the fact that a woman has a child. Just make sure, if you do date them, don't get involved with their kids unless your prepared to stick around.mThey don't need to be rejected by another man.

I know a few men that are attracted to single mums, thinks it got something to do with how they act towards their children (caring, responsible etc) and men went the woman to act that way to them as well.
I know when I have my friends kids I get more attention then when I'm alone, No chance for us single girls!

Think it's something to do with our primal instincts in the hunter gatherer sense. ME man me protect woman me have many strong bucks to also hunt. A basic protecting instinct. Remember we were uncivilised for a lot longer than we have been civilised and I still believe these urges often insinuate them selves on some aspects of our behaviour. p.s. just wait for the proverbial to hit the fan when some people read this!

gugys are attracted to single mums because guys who cannot father children as it is already done for them and not only that single do still have to have dads around toehr wise social services get involved iof there isd no dad arpund

As a single mum myself it could be because we are independant and strong. Know what we want and aren't afraid to ask.

It goes both ways.
Some guys are attracted to single mothers, and others run away as fast as they can, because they don't want to become "instant" daddy.
