I just assume they have no knowledge of science and will probably be too stupid to understand. No one has ever said the universe happened randomly. Have you ever heard of something called the laws of physics? Say no to jesus. http://www.saynotojesus.tk

I do. I've seen it TOO many times before.

It sounds like a question coming from a person who doesn't have much insight in physics. I remember from my studies that physical laws didn't exist before 10^-13 seconds of the big bang. This means that physical laws came into existance after the initiation of time. Now, saying that this complicated universe happened because of the physical laws, brings a question (if you dont believe in 'creationism'); why did these laws randomly arise? Not only random, but so perfect, because if the universe expanded with a lower speed at that time, the whole matter would have collapsed back and we wouldn't have been here.

Please give me a logical answer to this "why did these laws randomly arise?" if you are trying to blame the complexity of this universe on the physical laws.

I agree that it is not impossible but you must admit that the odds are very unlikely of life assembling itself (not randomly, of course). First, a planet needs to form with just the right conditions for life to begin. So we have Earth with acceptable conditions. Then, some three billionish years ago amino acids randomly assembled themselves and "Voila!" we have cute little autotrophs which preform photosynthesis and create our ozone layer as well as protiens and membranes and genetic information. Then some of those simple them evolve through many series of increasingly complex and unlikely mutations into life as we know it today. It is entirely theoretically possible, but also highly unlikely.

The Second Law of Thermodynamics tells us that the universe is progressing towards chaos and disorder. To be fair, this does not rule out evolution but does make it even more unlikely. A system could still become more ordered by drawing on the energy of other systems, thus the overall chaos of the system would decrease while the overall chaos of the universe would still increase.

Obviously, being so very intelligent and educated has not stopped you from becoming a bigot with no tolerance for the views of others, as your question demonstrates so well. I suppose that is because you have evolved through your series of mutations into such a highly superior being that it does not matter that your question is overbearing and rude, not to mention pointless. But what does it matter? We need no morality, because it's survival of the fittest. We really don't have free choice, because we are nothing more than cause and effect beings in a cause and effect world, and of course nothing is random because they follow only the laws of the universe.

But don't worry, there's no need to reply to me, because I am no doubt uneducated, with no knowledge of science whatsoever and most likely too stupid to understand a reply with words longer than four letters.

(And just in case your superior intellect doesn't let you in on every little secret of the universe, this was increasingly moving from seriousness to sarcasm.)

BTW - The universe is TOO complicated, not TO complicated

Without Jesus, the incarnate of the word of God in flesh, the whole universe will collapse and every thing it contains will vanish in a twinkle of an eye. Through Jesus every thing is created whether seen or unseen. Without Jesus nothing is created; you cannot live and breathe the breath of life which makes you be what you are and enjoy the gift of your existence. If one could possibly sense the splendor of his being, the wonder of his existing, the amazement of sensing the stupendous surroundings, the wisdom and knowledge of realizing the beauty and the Love of that whom you say no to!!!

Quantum Physics says there are multiple universes simultaneously existing. And ours began from the membrane between them bumping against each other.

Quantum also says anything is possible at anytime and everything at the same time. Is all relative to the observer.

Why don't you explain these laws of physics you are so well versed in and enlighten the rest of us. I visited your "say no to Jesus" site and found it rather dull and uninformed. I am not a Christian by any stretch of the imagination, but can easily take apart your precious web site. Just let me know when you're ready.

Pass them invariably.

People also invariable couple those statements with conclusions based on their ideas about what uncertainty mean.... which are complete crap.

Take a statistics course. Still don't get it? Do another. Keep going, fools, and eventually enlightenment on the matter will come.

Tom, it sounds to me that anyone whose opinion differs from yours gets tossed straight into your "stupid" file. I hear you saying "opinion and fact may be 2 different things entirely." Okay. I tend to avoid answers where my 2 cents won't make a bit of difference to the asker because so many seem so stiffnecked and rebellious against the Spirit of God. My faith might astound you as much as your adherence to physics and science with no head to a miraculous Spiritual power astounds me. That is fine. We can agree to disagree forever, but I would encourage you: ignoring Jesus and saying no to Him is one thing, but you are mocking Him. That website...hmmmm... you ought to fear God (reverential fear), not mock him so. Peace. Mercy.

I agree, some people seem to be incapable of understanding that even an extremely unlikely occurance is still a matter of chance, and therefore a possibility.

Yes, it's like I don't have time to do the whole "let's try and educate this person from scratch" routine again just now... so I pass

I do but then I believe in Christ and see no conflict with God, Creation, and evolution.
