he is 11 months old,for any reason if he gets angry he starts crying continuously without taking breath.the situation becomes very critical sometimes his face gets blackish while crying and he tires in such a way that I feel he is not concious.I dont understand how to stop him crying in this way.He literally stops breathing when he cryies.What should I do?

See dear, you are a mother, you have to know what to do and when to do. ok
1. Feed the baby atleast ones in 1 1/2 hours.
2. Give the medicine regularly.
3. if not go and see the doctor.
ok. You have to take care of your baby. The baby dont know how to tell you8 thats why is crying.
Plz take care of the baby. Its a god gift

My answer to this question is that you have to be patient with him as he can't talk and you have to find out what is wrong with him.
He could be teething and it hurts them so bad when they are getting teeth all they do is scream and cry or he is in pain some where else.
If he doesn't stop crying you might have to take him to see a doctor and see if can find something wrong with him

Some babies just cry. Call your Pediatrician to rule out something medically wrong with him, then take a deep breath and relax. He'll grow out of it when he learns other ways to express himself. Take him for a walk or try to redirect his attention to something interesting. My first child was like that, the only time he was happy was if I held him. It'll wear you out, but it'll pass.

He sounds like he is in some kind of pain. Take him to the doctor immediately.

it sounds like he gets so mad he cant control his breathing, i agree he should be seen by a doctor as soon as possilbe. be consistant with the dr dont let him pass it off as a temper tantrum, especially if you or the babys dad has a family history of heart or lung problems, and very especially if the baby was born premature. good luck.

he probably has a stomach pains....carry him assure him you will take care of it and take him to the doctor...once the doctor tells you he is okay...with a thoroughly check...take him home and give him all the love...you can give.....assure him that mommy is there and will always be....talk to him...carry him ...give him Lot's and Lot's of love it is no such thing as spoiling him...good luck and i hope the baby is OK....take him to the doctor...please..

i dont want to sound horrible, but it sounds as if your son has you wrapped around his finger even at his age... i bet after he has had his crying fit you give him cuddles and whatever he wants after....... why would he be getting angry in the first place unless its because he cant have what he wants. if its not this take him to your health visitor im sure they will be able to advise you.

i know i might get abused for this answer but trust me it works... everytime my son cries so much he stops breathing i give him one quick smack on the back... not too hard but enough to shock him... it startles them into breathing again... trust me ive done it heaps of time to my son and my friends kids coz they do it too... it doesnt hurt the child it just makes them breathe... it might not make him stop crying but he should start breathing properly again
