Soak them in a mild brine solution - not only does it encourage the insects to come out, they float to the top of the water. Still........I have never really been sure that they ALL come out! Even so, they say that what you don't know won't hurt you. It doesn't matter how clean and careful you are, you will always eat some crud!

Rinse in water with a little salt and some vinegar let soak a while then rinse again in clear water

1) Dont pick fruit that has been sprayed or 2) gently rinse them and hope for the best.

if u rinse them in cold water every hour for 1 hour the will all drop of and try to take them out fast because lots of them will crawl back on

Soak them in salt overnight, & the blighters soon come crawling out.....make sure you rinse them well in cold water the next day....

I was thinking exactly same thing yesterday. I remember boiling them as a kid but they were to go into a pie.
